Troubleshooting Common Issues
Image appears too small or large
Solution: Check your print scaling settings. Set to "Fit to page" or "Actual size" depending on your preference. Make sure "Shrink to fit" is enabled if the image is larger than your paper.
Lines are too light or faint
Solution: Increase your printer's print quality to "High" or "Best". Check your ink/toner levels and clean print heads if necessary.
Image is cut off at edges
Solution: Adjust margins in your print settings or select "Fit to printable area". Some printers have minimum margin requirements.
Poor print quality
Solution: Use higher quality paper, check ink levels, clean print heads, and ensure you're printing at high quality settings.
Tips for Best Results
- Use quality paper: Heavier paper (24lb or cardstock) prevents bleed-through when using markers
- Print in batches: Print multiple copies at once to save time and ensure consistency
- Check preview: Always preview before printing to avoid waste
- Save ink: Print in draft mode for practice pages, high quality for final versions
- Store properly: Keep printed pages flat and dry until ready to color
